Constable Angela Taylor Scholarship ($500)

Constable Angela Taylor died from horrific injuries when a massive car bomb exploded outside the Russell Street Police complex on March 27,1986.  She fought a brave battle before succumbing to her injuries on April 20 that year. Angela was just 21 years old.   

To honour Angela the Association awards two scholarships, each valued at $250, to current year 8 students.  To be eligible for this scholarship students must be a child of either an Association member, retired member or police widow and currently completing year 8.  The scholarships are awarded after consideration of the students' school involvements, end of year results and the applicants' involvement in a community group such as sporting, church, hobby or charity group etc.  The scholarships are awarded for one year. 

EC James Scholarship ($750)

This scholarship of $750 will be awarded after consideration of the student's school involvement and end of year results together with the applicant's involvement in a community group such as sporting, church, hobby or charity group etc.  To be eligible for this scholarship students must currently be completing Year 9 and be a child of either an Association member, retired member or police widow.  This scholarship is awarded for three years and carries an allowance of $250 for each year.

Graham Davidson Scholarship ($600)

This scholarship is valued at $600 and is awarded after consideration of the student's school involvement and end of year results together with the applicant's involvement in a community group such as sporting, church, hobby or charity group etc.  Students must currently be completing Year 6 and be a child of either an Association member, retired member or Police widow.  This scholarship is awarded for two years and carries an allowance of $300 for each year.
