Election Notice

 Nominations are called for

BRANCH EXECUTIVE MEMBER 

Nominations

Nominations, which must be made in writing and comply with the registered rules of the organisation, may be made at any time from 3 January 2006. They must reach my office or postal address not later than 12 noon on Tuesday, 31 January 2006. Nominations cannot be withdrawn after this time.

Nomination Form

A nomination form is printed on the second page of this newsletter. Further copies can be obtained from me or the office of the organisation. The use of this form is not compulsory providing nominations comply with the rules.

Candidates Statements

Candidates may submit a statement in support of their election not exceeding 250 words together with a photograph not exceeding 6cm x 4cm, by not later than 12 noon on Tuesday, 31 January 2006. Note that statements must not include any “how to vote” diagrams.

BALLOT

If a ballot is necessary, voting material will be posted on 28 February 2006 to eligible members at the address shown in the Federations’ records. Members should notify the Federation of any change of address. The ballot will close at 9.00am on Tuesday, 21 March 2006.

NOTE: A copy of the AEC’s election report can be obtained from the organisation or from me after the completion of the4 election.
