The Police Association is in the process of undertaking a substantial revamp and upgrade of its website – www.tpass.com.au.
A proposal for the redevelopment of our website has recently been approved with the new site expected to be launched in early August 2005.
Members will see a ‘new-look’ site that will be more modern and user-friendly with a greater capacity to provide more up-to-date news and information.
The new site is designed to contain ample capacity to accommodate additional functions and features after its launch. For example, the new site will evolve to include such features as a member-only section, which will contain information of a sensitive nature, and a feature enabling the Association to undertake surveys so that members can provide their views and instant feedback on important issues.
With email and internet access recently extended to all our members at their workplace, our website will become an increasingly important means of communication for the Association and the membership. An upgraded website with a superior capacity to communicate with our members is therefore essential.
Members are invited to offer any suggestions for our new site by emailing Sandro Lofaro, Internal Communication Officer, at general@tpass.com.au.
