Evidence stacks up on chronic under-resourcing

The evidence keeps stacking up on the crippling lack of police resources, yet the Chief Commissioner and the state government continue to turn a blind eye.

As was reported in today’s media, the latest Productivity Commission report reveals that the Victoria State Government spends less on policing than any other state or territory in the country and has done so for the past three years.

The government and the Chief Commissioner’s continued denials about resourcing can’t disguise the facts – Victoria is suffering from critical resource shortages and we desperately need police back on the street.

It is up to us to demand action on the police resource crisis.

Attend the rally and let the truth be told about the outrageous state of police resources.
