Your views on the Major Crime Management Model

From today, The Police Association will be conducting a survey to gauge members’ attitudes to the Major Crime Management Model.

The survey will seek to understand if the objectives of the Major Crime Management Model have been met since its establishment in 2006.

Most Police Association members who hold investigative roles both in the Crime Department and in the Regions have been contacted to participate in the survey. The results will help us inform our response to the review of the Model currently being conducted by the Victoria Police Force.

The Police Association would like to assure members who have been asked to participate that their responses are completely anonymous and confidential.

We would like to thank members in advance for providing their valuable insight into the Major Crime Management Model that will allow the Police Association to effectively represent the views of its members.

If you have been asked to participate and have any questions relating to the survey, please contact the Association’s industrial relations section on (03) 9495 6899 or at general@tpav.org.au

Due to a salary increase which all members received from 6 January 2008, there will be an adjustment to members’ Association subscription fees.

From next pay day, Thursday 17 January 2008, member subscription fees will rise from $24.60 to $25.35 per-fortnight.
