Post-rally meetings commence this weekPost-rally member meetings will commence this week, kicking-off with a meeting of metropolitan members at the MCG. 11am Thursday, 5 June 2008 Olympic Room (level 2) MCG (enter via gate 3) A BBQ will be provided for members following every post-rally meeting. The Association is also providing buses if needed, so contact your local delegate with your travel requirements. Your attendance is important! At the post-rally meetings, members will have an opportunity to readdress the issues raised at our landmark rally at Rod Laver Arena, including the Improper Associations and rotations policies and proposed legislation that will reduce the accountability of the OPI. Members will also join in the regional launches of SOS – our campaign to call for increased police numbers on our streets. These are critical issues facing the policing profession and your rights as police that can only be overcome by your high attendance at the post-rally meetings.
