Today’s post-rally meeting – Ballarat

The latest post-rally meeting was held in Ballarat today. Members carried the following resolutions:

“THAT THIS MEETING OF MEMBERS IN BALLARAT CALLS FOR THE ACTIVATION OF ALL OF THE MOTIONS PASSED AT THE RALLY ON 8 APRIL 2008 AND THAT ACTIVATION TO BE SUPPORTED BY DECISIVE ACTION INCLUDING WORK BANS.”

“FURTHER, ANY WORK BANS PROPOSED TO ACHIEVE THESE AIMS BE FOLLOWED THROUGH UNTIL MEMBERS VOTE ON CESSATION OF WORK BANS.”

“THAT THIS MEETING OF MEMBERS CALLS ON THE VICTORIA POLICE FORCE COMMAND AND THE CHIEF COMMISSIONER TO RESOURCE REGION 2 DIVISION 3 WITH AN ADDITIONAL 98 MEMBERS AS IDENTIFIED IN THE NIEIR REPORT.”

Post-rally meetings continue tomorrow in Horsham

The Association will provide a BBQ for members following each meeting. 

It is important that as many members as possible attend so that you can have your say on the issues affecting you and your ability to do your job.
