Rally to uphold our rightsThe rally to be held at Rod Laver Arena on 8 April 2008 and march to Parliament House is all about preserving our members’ rights. Our members are angry with the Government and the Chief Commissioner about: - working in a chronically under resourced environment;· - proposed Police Regulation Act amendments that may involve the ability to transfer any member, anywhere, anytime, banning secondary employment, no merit based appeals and mandatory pecuniary interest declarations. - the draconian ‘Improper Associations’ policy - an unaccountable Office of Police Integrity that is drunk with power and out of control. Look out for further information on the issue in future editions of InBrief. GIVE POLICE A CHANCE!Make sure you and your family have your say!Tuesday 8 April 2008 at 11:00am
