Police at WorkLast year, some members would have participated in the Police at Work survey. The survey, conducted by the Workplace Research Centre at the The project, now in its second year, aims to gain a better understanding about the working life of police. Results from the survey will be used to improve the working conditions of police through bargaining negotiations, government submissions and in the media. The second round of the survey will commence in June this year and those members who participated in the first round will again be asked to provide their views. Researchers from the Police at Work team will contact these members shortly. Members who participated in the survey last year should also expect to receive a newsletter that outlines some of the key findings from the first round of interviews. The newsletter is also accessible via the industrial relations section of our website, www.tpav.org.au. Paul Mullett Secretary |
