Meeting of ALL Senior Sergeants

Earlier this year, The Police Association was advised of the Force’s intention to introduce a mobility model for senior sergeants within division 3 of regions 1 and 4.

Under the model, the Chief Commissioner will have the power to rotate senior sergeants and their families to any location across the state, at any time.

The Association, on behalf of affected senior sergeants has expressed its complete opposition to the mobility model, yet the Force is intent on proceeding.

For this reason, the Association will be holding a meeting of ALL SENIOR SERGEANTS to ensure the Force’s plans are prevented and the rights of members are upheld.

It is the Association’s view that the Force’s plan for a mobility model for senior sergeants is merely the thin edge of the wedge. It is our intention to stop the proposed mobility model before the rights of all members and their families are eroded. To make this possible, the attendance of all senior sergeants at this meeting is essential.
