Post-rally membership meetings to commence on 5 June

Following the Force and government’s inaction on issues important to police, the time has come to progress the motions passed unanimously at last month’s rally at Rod Laver Arena. Accordingly, The Police Association will conduct a series of member meetings to be held throughout June.

This series of meetings (which stems from one of the motions carried at the rally) will also provide members with the opportunity to reiterate their demands on the critical state of police resources through the launch of our Save Our Streets campaign. Members will also receive a report-back on a host of other issues that threaten to strip them of their rights, including the over-the-top Improper Associations and rotations policies as well as proposed legislation designed to increase the power of the OPI while reducing its accountability.

The Association will provide buses so members can attend their nearest meeting.
